Short version: this site doesn't track you, your practice stays on your own device, and only what you choose to send reaches me.
Your practice stays with you
Your journal, your sits, your notes, your answers in the courses and everything you write in Practice are saved only in your own browser, on your own device. They never reach me or anyone else. Clearing your browser data, or a course's own “clear” button, removes them. Practice can make a backup file for you; that file goes wherever you save it, not to me.
Site accounts (free profiles)
A free profile is held by Netlify Identity, part of Netlify, which hosts this site. It holds your email, your first name if you give it, whether you'd like emails from me, and your membership roles (for example “Circle” or “private beta”), which decide which pages open for you. A small sign-in cookie keeps you signed in. If you choose “Continue with Google”, Google shares your name and email with this site and nothing else, and your Google password never reaches me. You can ask me to delete your profile at any time.
The waiting list
When you join the waiting list, your email, your first name if you give it, the interests you tick, any note you add, and which page you joined from are stored by Netlify and sent to me. I use them only to write to you about courses, gatherings and membership. No email service has them yet. When I start sending letters I'll use Kit (kit.com), which will then hold the list on my behalf, and every email will let you unsubscribe. I don't sell or share your details. To be removed, email NickOnLocation@proton.me.
Booking requests
When you send the request form, what you type (name, email, optional phone and notes) is handled by Netlify and forwarded to me. I use it only to reply and arrange your session, and I don't sell or share it. Ask me anytime to delete it.
The practice pulse (optional, off unless you switch it on)
In Practice you can choose to share an anonymous pulse. Once a day it sends counts only: how many sits of each practice, which week of a course, which grade. No name, no email, no account, no journal text, and no IP address is stored. It helps me see which practices are used so I can make them better. You can switch it off at any time under Me.
Payments (when membership opens)
Nothing on this site takes payments yet. When membership opens, payments will be handled by Stripe on Stripe's own pages. I'll never see your card number. Stripe tells this site only what's needed to open your membership: that you paid, for which membership, and a customer reference so you can manage or cancel it. Stripe's own privacy policy covers what it holds.
No tracking
This site uses no analytics or ad trackers, and its fonts are served from this site. The only cookie it sets is the sign-in cookie, once you have a profile. The production video on the music page loads from YouTube only if you press play.

To see, correct or delete anything I hold about you, email NickOnLocation@proton.me. I'll answer within a few days.
